Careers

When I began my birth business I quickly learned that the genuine relationships I was building, meant I was a trusted resource for my clients, and I take this seriously. When I refer and vouch for other professionals in the field, I really know who they are professionally and personally. The professional connections I make become authentic friendships with individuals who really align with my values, work ethic and my type of clients’ personality. You won’t find a large team here–I keep my team size small, connected and close-knit.

When working together, you’ll have access to me, for guidance and counsel, and of course love and support. Because ensuring you are happy and successful, ensures my clients are too.

    Job Description

Honey Midwifery is excited to welcome the right Licensed Midwife (LM) and Certified Professional Midwife (CPM) to join our warm and holistic birth center team. We believe in creating a supportive “hive” culture—where midwives care deeply for one another while providing exceptional, family-centered care.

We provide full-scope midwifery services including prenatal care, home and birth center deliveries, postpartum care for mothers and newborns, and well-woman gynecological care. This role is best suited for a midwife who is compassionate, collaborative, and eager to contribute to a growing practice that values kindness, professionalism, and community.

The position includes a multi-step interview process (virtual and in-person) and a 90-day probationary period.

    Responsibilities

    • Provide holistic, evidence-based midwifery care in prenatal, intrapartum, postpartum, and gynecological settings.

    • Participate in clinic days (2–3 days per week).

    • Share call schedule and provide birth coverage, including occasional shifts as a second midwife/birth assistant.

    • Collaborate closely with our team to ensure a seamless, supportive experience for families.

    • Maintain detailed and accurate charting in compliance with state regulations and birth center protocols.

    • Support families with warmth, empathy, and respect, honoring each family’s unique journey.

    • Warm, compassionate, and able to thrive in a busy, collaborative team environment.

    • Current CPR and NRP certifications.

    • Commitment to continuing education and professional growth.

    • Strong communication skills with clients and colleagues.

    Benefits

    • Shared call schedule (preventing the burnout of 24/7 solo on-call work).

    • Competitive salary with access to benefits, including health insurance.

    • Malpractice insurance coverage.

    • Supportive, team-oriented environment with a focus on sustainability and longevity in midwifery practice.

    • Opportunities for ongoing training, mentorship, and professional development.
