Concierge Midwifery care

All of your prenatal visits, your labor, birth and all your postpartum visits are done in the comfort and safety of your own home. As an Orange County Midwife, I will travel to your home with all the necessary equipment, routine labs and supplies for your visits and birth. The most beautiful component to our Orange County Midwifery care is the intimate, one-on-one relationship you will form with your midwife. The care I provide my clients throughout the childbearing year is uniquely nurturing, attentive, individualized, and hands-on. You’ll always have direct access to your midwife including your midwife’s personal cell phone. No paging systems or receptionist desks. A real person you’ve grown a close, trusting relationship with.

Prenatal Care

Each visit is about 1-2 hours in duration. We use this time to bond, develop a trusting relationship, check in on your health, discuss recommendations, answer your questions, measure your baby’s growth, and palpate your belly to check baby’s position and to connect with your little one. Honey Midwifery proudly offers Family Centered care. This means your loved ones are encouraged and welcomed to join us and be part of the joy.

Home birth and Waterbirth

We believe in an undisturbed birth. And so, during your labor, your midwife will offer you love, respect, guidance, and professional healthcare by monitoring your well-being, vitals, and your baby, with a fetal monitoring doppler device. Your midwife will bring all the necessary supplies as well as emergency equipment to your home. When it is time for your midwife to depart, she will clean up for you, tuck you in bed and be in constant communication with you during your postpartum period.

Postpartum care

The postpartum period is a time to offer the birthing person tender loving care. I ensure that all their healing is coming along nicely, I support them with their lactation journey, and I check in emotionally and mentally how they are doing with the integration of having their baby earth side. Your baby will receive the love of their midwife as well as full physiological and neurological exams, weight checks and any screening or newborn procedures the parents choose, if any.

quality care

As a California licensed midwife, I have attended an accredited midwifery school, I am certified on the national level and hold a license from the Medical Board of California which is the same body that licenses physicians. I carry active certifications in adult, child and infant CPR, Neonatal resuscitation and participate in continuing education every year. I run my own labs and perform phlebotomy in my practice. I offer every test, screening and normal prenatal procedure that is standard in OB care, and I have a network of specialists I refer out to and collaborate with when needed. As a licensed medical care provider and midwife, I am an expert in normal, physiological, and vaginal birth.

Our Process

01. Complete Inquiry

Complete the form on our website by clicking the button below. We will then schedule a complimentary 60-minute consultation to discuss services further and answer your questions.

Once contract and deposit are submitted, I am officially your midwife. We will begin with onboarding you to care and scheduling our first prenatal appointment.

03. The Magic Begins

pricing

It’s important to remember that the midwifery model of care doesn’t support families if midwives can’t support their own families while practicing it.

The fee your midwife values her services at, is not the total amount she receives. She must pay her assistants a fair wage and maintain business costs of a medical practice. Pricing changes throughout the year to reflect current costs of living, costs of business (supplies, overhead) and so on.

There is a non-refundable deposit due at booking to reserve your due date with the remaining balance due by 36 weeks gestation. Payment plans are welcomed at no additional cost. Pricing and payment terms will be discussed in detail during our complimentary consultation.
