Our team specialist and Board Certified Lactation Consultant (IBCLC), provides breastfeeding assistance in the comfort and privacy of your own home. Assistance is usually available within 48 hours of calling and within Orange County.

Observation of your baby and breastfeeding.
Hands-on assistance with positioning and latch.
Assessment of your breastfeeding concerns.
History of your labor and delivery and baby’s health.
Baby’s weight with a pediatric scale.

Suggestions and advice.
Detailed written plan of care and visit summary which is shared with medical providers.
Access to IBCLC via phone for follow-up questions and concerns related to initial consultation for up to two weeks.

Consultation
During this 1 hour visit, our Orange County Board Certified Lactation Consultant will visit you during your pregnancy before your little one arrives. This is a great time for you and your lactation consultant to review any health history concerns, go over breastfeeding education and helpful supplies to be better prepared for your postpartum journey. Your lactation consultant will also help you set up your pump and demonstrate how to efficiently pump as well as review cleaning and storage guidelines with you so that you are well prepared.

Self-pay visits are always available to everyone and if your insurance is in network, you will be qualified for up to 6 free lactation consultant visits.
